THE INFORMATION HERE IS NOT UPDATED!

As a part of my work and spare time interest I found it natural to install and maintain a web server and a CMS. I have tried DotNetNuke both as a hobby project diary but also for developing purposes when I began to implement a bug reporting module. I found the framework really great, but the CMS was not as straight forward as the Joomla! CMS. I tried Joomla! for a couple of weeks, but nowadays freddes.se’s content is managed using WordPress.

I have also run a MediaWiki which I found great, but the basic editor was not as good as this one, WordPress’s that is.

Purpose

The main purpose for this site is to be a place for me to write about software development and other computer related stuff, electronics and so on. Right now the site is evolving and taking shape, as it will be as long as it is run. The information will be written in English.

I’m not sure of the actual purpose for the site, but I will try to make it as interesting as possible, writing about new stuff, old stuff, things that are news to me but most certainly not news to others. At the moment I have no project going on, at least not any project I will write about here, but as soon as I start developing things I will write about it.
